On Sunday 18th July 2021 the circuit held a Service of Thanksgiving on the occasion of the final act of worship at Whitton Methodist Church.
Members of the church, past members, members of the circuit, ministers, and representatives of local churches were all present, online and in person, to give the church a fitting send-off.
Tea was provided by members of Whitton and it was wonderful that so many people were able to gather after the last 18 months of not being together in person. The homemade cakes were fantastic!
Music was provided by Hounslow and Barnes churches.
Although, in many ways a sad occasion, there was joy found in past stories and memories, as well as looking to the future for the members and circuit.
