We are a friendly Christian community based in south west London, seeking to serve God and our neighbours. We welcome all those who are interested in exploring their faith, from any background. Our congregation comes from every corner of the globe and each year we welcome many visitors to London, bringing all sorts of experiences of life with them. There is always lots going on at the church. We are a centre for Christian Meditation and enjoy good links with the University of Roehampton. We love to welcome new people.

Christian meditation
Tuesdays 7:30pm
Our regular Christian Meditation Group meets at the church on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 pm and offers a warm welcome to newcomers. The aim of Christian meditation is to allow God’s mysterious and silent presence within us to become not only a reality but the reality that gives meaning, shape and purpose to everything we do and are. Those who meditate regularly find that it helps them to de-stress and also to grow in love of themselves and others. The meetings lasts approximately 45 minutes and include quiet music, a short talk on meditation and 25 minutes of silent meditation. This is a free event and anyone, of any faith or none, is welcome to join.
Wednesday morning prayers and coffee
Wednesdays 10:00am
On Wednesday mornings at Putney we begin the day with our Prayer Group. It’s a very simple half hour, where we read some words together, hear a few passages of the Bible and share our concerns for God’s world and God’s people. We are always delighted to welcome anyone to join us – whether or not they have ever prayed before. Afterwards, from 10:30 am, we have a regular Coffee Morning, where anyone is welcome to drop in to chat and share a free cup of tea or coffee. It is a lovely place to spend a short or long time, and you are guaranteed a warm welcome.
PMC Singers
Thursdays (Fornightly) 7:30pm
Our church singing group, the PMC Singers, welcomes all who enjoy singing, whether or not they read music. We cover a variety of styles and, amongst other things, put on two informal concerts a year. We generally rehearse fortnightly on Thursdays at 7:30 pm.
Bible study
Small groups in the church regularly meet together to study the Bible or topical issues. Please see our own website for more details.
